Renew NC: Helene Recovery for Western North Carolina
Renewing western North Carolina housing, infrastructure, and economy following Hurricane Helene through $1.4 billion in Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funding
Renew NC was created by the Division of Community Revitalization (DCR) to offer programs that address unmet hurricane recovery needs in western North Carolina, including housing, infrastructure, and economic revitalization. The programs will be funded through a $1.4 billion Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
